El Pillo A comedy show in capital letters, combining music, gesture, object theater, audiovisual and live improvisation. All this has passed through the sieve of the particular creative universe that Marcel Tomàs has developed over the last few years. The starting point, a cabaret singer in off-peak hours who meets the love of her life, Marie Pierre Boluard. An impossible love. Toys that travel up and down will bridge you to other places beyond the theater. Holding the viewer by the hand and transporting him to an absurd, surreal and hilarious universe where both the protagonists of the stories and the audience will be trapped. The show is the perfect excuse for Marcel Tomàs to show his wide repertoire of stage resources, acting as the only master of ceremonies ready to dazzle the audience from the first moment. El Pillo is the third show in the trilogy that began in 2010 with Zirocco, in 2012 with Hotot and now closes with this Pillo (2014).
Marcel Tomàs has become a necessary artist. The truth is that there is no one like him, as far as I know, with such a living capacity for creative ingenuity about things and humans, where the eagerness of his imaginary runs through a wide range of illusory techniques and classical styles. and modern ones that regenerate tradition by expanding its richness. This looter is simply a fabulous utopian actor, a perfect mime, a unique clown, a modern and delirious clown, an atypical showman, a bewildering singer, a great improviser …, a great villain. In other words, I don’t know how to say it, the embodiment of true generosity paraded on stage.

The immersed and dedicated audience does not want the show to end.

Once again, MARCEL TOMÀS’s smile is the tool with which he puts the public in his pocket and which he knows how to exploit very wisely. EL PILLO is a set of great and very good numbers. And it is that MARCEL TOMÀS like good wines, with the experience gained over the years has reached a point, that even if you just read the phone list would manage to seduce viewers no matter what. And Toni Escribano’s very funny interventions.

Tomàs dominates the stage like never before and when he discusses with the audience what is happening is fantastic.
