Peter and the Captain, it is a two-way dialogue, in the context of an interrogation, and in the relationship that is established between an interrogator and a detainee, according to Benedetti himself does not stage the confrontation between a monster and a holy, but of two men, two beings of flesh and bones, both with vulnerable points and points of resistance. The distance between the two is, above all, ideological; and it is perhaps here that the key to other differences lies, such as morality, courage, sensitivity to human pain, the complex journey between courage and cowardice, the little or much capacity for sacrifice, l ‘crack between betrayal and freedom.
